GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
So that we can assure you a pleasant stay and avoid the risk of misunderstanding, we ask you to read the Šumik Estate General Terms and Conditions.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME
Check- in is between 14:00 - 18:00 on the day of your arrival.
Check-out is before 10:00 on the day of your departure.
In the case of arriving early and checking in before 14:00, an additional charge of 40 € applies.
Should you intend to arrive after 18:00, we require notice one (1) day ahead of time.
You can prolong your stay on the day of your departure past 10:00 after prior arrangement if the house is still available. An additional charge of 40 € applies for prolonging your stay for up to four (4) hours, after which the regular price per night applies.
BOOKINGS
When booking online, the website user is obligated to use a valid email address and thereby gives us permission to use it for information purposes and for contact regarding their booking. In cases where the user is unavailable via email or phone or their email address is invalid, we reserve the right to cancel such a booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of booking cancellation via our website https://www.posestvosumik.com, the following cancellation policies apply:
Guests can cancel their booking up to three (3) days before their arrival. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged at 50% of the total value of the booking price.
PRICES
All prices are inclusive of VAT. The tourist tax for 1 € per person per day is not included. Breakfast is included in the room price.
We reserve the right to make changes.
PAYMENTS
Payments for your stay at the Šumik Estate are made on the day of departure (exceptions are pre-payments made via online booking).
We accept payment only in cash.
WEARING SLIPPERS
Because of the primary wood we aimed to preserve during renovation, it is mandatory on the 1st and 2nd floor to wear slippers. Your shoes can be kept in the cloakroom.
SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all closed areas of the Šumik Estate. In the case that the fire alarm is triggered by smoking, all intervention costs are charged to the person responsible according to the applicable price list. In the case of a violation of the smoking prohibition in a booked room, an additional cleaning fee of 50 € is charged.
PETS
Pets are not permitted in the interior of the Šumik Estate.
VISITS AND BUSINESS MEETINGS
Visits and business meetings are not allowed in the Šumik Estate.
Unregistered guests and those who did not pay for their stay are not permitted to spend the night at the Estate.
LOST ITEMS
We do not take responsibility for theft, damage or loss of your personal items.
Any items left behind are stored for 30 days, after which we give them to local charity/humanitarian/eco organizations, depending on the nature of the item.
At your wish, we can also send a forgotten item to you per mail, the shipping costs, however, are your responsibility.
BRINGING FLAMMABLE AND EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES
It is strictly prohibited to bring highly flammable and explosive substances, substances with a strong or unpleasant smell or any kind of weapon to the Šumik Estate.
FIRE SAFETY
In case of a fire alarm, leave your rooms and the building immediately using marked emergency exits. The emergency exits are properly marked all over the building. The safe meeting place is located at the Šumik Estate parking lot. Fire regulations and emergency exit signs are displayed in rooms and common rooms of the Šumik Estate.
Make sure you are familiar with the fire alarm and fire extinguisher location and act according to the fire regulation.
Due to fire safety, the use of cooking and heating devices in rooms is not permitted.
CAR DAMAGE
We do not take responsibility for any possible break-in or damage inflicted to your car while parked at our parking lot.
COMMENDS AND COMPLAINTS
The guestbook is located in dining room. We are happy to receive any feedback regarding your stay at the Šumik Estate.
Since we act in accordance with the consumer protection legislation, you can send us any of your complaints by email, addressed to posestvo.sumik@gmail.com, or by regular mail, addressed to Smolnik 24, 2342 Ruše.
You can voice your complaint personally right when the issue arises or in writing no later than fifteen (15) days after the end of your stay. Complaints should be substantiated by evidence, and we do not consider later-received reclamations.
We take your booking at the website https://www.posestvosumik.com as your full agreement to our general terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to cancel the agreement and the offer of our services to guests who gravely violate the general terms and conditions and house rules clauses of the Šumik Estate.
