How to find us
Despite the mountainous area and the altitude of 1100 m, it is not difficult to reach us. Do hit the road bravely and safely!
From the Ljubljana- Maribor- Areh direction:
via A1/E57
in Maribor, we choose the direction via Hoče – Hočko Pohorje. The road leads us to Areh (the cabin Ruška koča is located there). From there, we continue to travel on the local dirt road. Following the descending road, we turn west. After 6 km, we get to the plain, where the Bajgot parking lot lies right next to the Lobnica creek. We continue our path uphill to a crossroad, where we turn left. After some 100 m, we arrive at the Šumik Estate, which is located on the right.

From the Dravograd- Maribor- Ruše direction:
from Maribor, we drive in the direction of Ruše, through the towns Limbuš, Laznica, Bistrica ob Dravi and Bezena. We take the second exit at the first roundabout in Ruše. The road leads us through Ruše in a 1 km section all the way to the roundabout next to the viaduct, where we take the second exit, and then take a left turn in the direction of Smolnik- Šumik.
The road now begins to ascend. We follow the main road. After driving about 14 km through Smolnik, we get to a crossroad, where we turn right and arrive at the Šumik Estate parking lot.
